When a company's website no longer reflects its professionalism or serves its growth objectives, it's time for a renewal. The Tradar team approached us with this very challenge. The task was clear: to transform their existing, Hungarian-only website with an outdated look into a modern, user-friendly, and—most importantly—bilingual platform open to the international market. In this article, we'll show how we accomplished this digital transformation, step by step.

The Starting Point: A Website That Had Been Outgrown

The original tradar.eu website served the company well in its early days, but over time, it had become limiting on several fronts. The design no longer met modern trends, navigation was cumbersome, and the biggest challenge of all was that the site only communicated in Hungarian, blocking the possibility of international expansion.

Project Goals: Clear and Precise Objectives

Through our collaboration, we set the following main goals:

  1. Modern Identity: Create a completely new, clean visual appearance that reflects the company's quality.
  2. Improving the User Experience (UX): Rethink the site's structure so that visitors can find the information they need quickly and easily.
  3. Bilingualism: Make the site's entire content available in English, opening the door to international clients.
  4. Seamless Technical Transition: Migrate the existing WordPress-based content to the new system with minimal downtime.

The Implementation Process: From Design to Go-Live

We executed the project according to a well-established plan.

1. Identity and Template Selection
The first step was to design a new, modern identity. In line with this, we chose a professional WordPress template that not only fit our visual concepts but also provided a flexible and stable technical foundation for development.
2. Content Migration and Structure Building on a Subdomain
Instead of working on the live site, we conducted the entire development process on a subdomain. We moved the existing site's content there and then completely reorganized it. We created a much more logical, transparent menu system and page layout, which significantly improved the user experience. This method ensured that visitors could use the old, functional site right up until the final switchover.
3. Implementing Bilingual Functionality
While not the most technically complex task, this was crucial for the project's success. Implementing bilingualism required careful planning to ensure that both the Hungarian and English versions worked perfectly and that switching between languages was seamless for users.
4. Go-Live
Once the new site on the subdomain was complete and fully tested, we took the final step: we redirected the original tradar.eu domain* to the new, modern website. The result was a fast, visually appealing, and functional site.

Results and Conclusion

The Tradar.eu project is a perfect example of how an outdated online presence can be forged into a powerful business tool. The new website is not only modern and aesthetically pleasing but, thanks to its logical structure and bilingual capabilities, it effectively addresses both domestic and international markets.

We are proud to have been part of such a comprehensive renewal process and to have helped Tradar achieve its digital goals.
